Karl Lagerfeld and Victoire de Castellane let loose with a whimsical and colour-filled collection in Spring 1991. The supermodels were draped with ropes of colourful Gripoix pearls and beads, massive earrings and sleeves of bracelets. This very rare, massivily oversized Gripoix glass pearls and luminous beads in vibrant citrus hues of orange, yellow, cream, and ruby red was one of these iconic runway pieces.
Stunning Extra Large pearls and beads in varying shapes and sizes took center stage in this memorable and historic Lagerfeld moment.
