Jumbo Calfskin leather button-style clip-on earring with Shiny Gilt CC Logo and peripheral studs along the sides
Karl Lagerfeld was at the forefront of the logomania trend in the 1990s and the interlocking C's became one of the most recognizable and desirable logos. According to popular legend, Mademoiselle was inspired by a medallion in the vaulted arches of the Château de Crémat in Nice where she often attended parties held by her friend, American heiress Irene Bretz. The logo remained unchanged since that time but it achieved cult status under Lagerfeld's tenure.
These magnificent round oversized stud earrings put the famous CC logo front and center. The gorgeous gilt letters contrast and shine on the smooth black lambskin. Seven rounded studs frame the peripheral. The studs and their jumbo size make them truly a unique and rare find.
