CHANEL XXL HOLOGRAPHIC CRYSTAL GLASS NECKLACE SPRING 1992

Measuring in at nearly 7 feet long, this exceptionally generous necklace featuring faceted holographic crystals was the show-stopping accessory in the 1992 Printemps shoe. Twenty six magnificent prismatic crystals reflecting the entire spectrum of the colour wheel are the magical elements on the gleaming goldstone rolo chain.  This spectacular jewel was THE necklace of choice for the supermodels sashaying down the runway of Karl Lagerfeld's pastel explosion in the Spring Summer 1992 show. Victoire de Castellane varied the sizes of the faceted crystals and made certain that they mirrored the colours of the outfits presented. Defilés of pastel colored suits complemented the prismatic and iridescent crystal jewels presented on the supermodels in the show. The effect was that of sparkling rainbow light. A spectacular prismatic play of the entire color spectrum will definitely turn heads as only CHANEL knows how to do.
