Gabrielle Chanel had an ongoing love for Byzantine, Renaissance and Moghul historical references in her costume jewelry. Opulent Mughal jewel inspirations by the Maison CHANEL were incorporated in the bijoux fantasies of CHANEL by Robert Goossens and later in the 1980's to early 1990's by Frances Paticky Stein. Here we have one of the most spectacular examples from the latter with these lavish dangling shoulder-duster ear pendants from 1994. Vibrant, saturated poured glass cabochons in ruby and peacock green, as luminous as the day it was made, host of dangling fringe of spectacular pearl pompoms capped with pink finial "bonbon" glass beads. A intricate dancing mosaic of seductive colour and pure magic on the ears that cannot go unnoticed. A rare, unique Masterpiece and historical treasure from the Golden Age of CHANEL.
